This design has literally been years in the making - you'd think a silhouette that's simple would be easy, right?

RIGHT?? (insert Padme and Anakin meme here)

The Still Life Dress is a silhouette based on your favorite 90's Sundress - easy, breezy, comfy and absolutely perfect for warmer weather (or layering!)

But what really makes it is the print. The Still Life print was created using elements from the (public domain) piece, "Vanitas Still Life" c.1665/1670 By Jan Van Kessel, The Elder. You can read more about this process on the wax poetic blog when this project first started a million years ago here.
